Jerry and I first met in 1990 at the Wisconsin Professional Speakers Association. What a captivating powerful motivating way he had with words. He introduced me at my first professional speaking engagement. A great person to know. He surely will be missed.

"A certain magic happens when you help others to fly, their wings lift you up." Jerry's life personified these words. Thank you, Jerry, for making a difference in the lives of so many and for helping me to learn how to fly. We will miss you.

Jerry and I and some of the other early speaker wanna bees flailed around in the early years as we tried to be talking wonders. Those early years were tough. When I went to Milwaukee and shared my history of being Colder's founder's daughter and dreamed of being a star speaker. Jerry gave it his all and we knew we would always be speaker's that cared. Jerry! I'll see you in speaker's paradise. Say hello to Rosita for me. She is there and will welcome you. Janie

Jerry and I were high school classmates in Stratford. I remember "Giese" as a comfortable person to be with. As with most rural students in the Stratford area, they were too busy with necessary chores at home to get into trouble. As one of the taller SHS students, he did well on the basketball court. (We didn't have football then at SHS.) I was only mildly surprised to learn he was on the Milwaukee Police force ... more surprised he launched himself into motivational speaking. He was a student of few words when we were classmates.
May you remember him fondly, and may you have comfort in this difficult time.
