There was always laughter and smart conversation when Jeremy was in the room. I didn't know him well, but know and love Simone and Jeralyn. My loving condolences to them both, and to his wife Sonya and her family. And you too, Ella.

Jeremy is someone you never forget once you meet him, no matter how brief the encounter. I will dearly miss hearing his music playing in his yard next door to my longtime friends' home.
When we finally met at my friends' party, I spent most of the evening with Jeremy's then eight-year-old-daughter Simone, who delighted me instantly by gobbling up a crawfish without hesitation. She carries his bold spirit, and we can all be thankful for that. Sending much love to Simone and to all those who were, and still are, part of Jeremy's life. May his memory be a blessing.

No matter the case, Jeremy always had a solution. Never personal. Fearfully smart in court. He was a lawyer's lawyer. We discussed politics of all types, I was on one side, he was on another but we always ended up somehow agreeing and laughing. A handshake was a deal and today that is very, very rare. I will miss his wit and humorous approach to cases. He always caused me to let my guard down. I'm so very sorry for your loss. I will never forget him. God look over you as you somehow work through this tragedy.

Jean and I convey our condolences to the entire family of Jeremy on his passing. He was an awesome attorney and person who brought a passion to everything he did.
