I am still in shock with the news of Joan's passing. I will always remember what a wonderful, happy, uplifting, inviting, gentle woman she was. We were so shocked and so very, very sad to hear of Auntie Joan's passing, and are still in shock today as it is still sinking in as being real.
We loved her exhuberance, her spirit and her loving way of welcoming us whenever we saw her - Auntie Joan certainly knew how to make people feel how important they were to her. She always made us smile, hugged us and warmed our hearts when we were in her presence and she will definitely be sorely missed.
Mere words cannot express the loss we all feel with Auntie Joan's passing. Our only comfort is that she is with God and all our family members who have already passed and that she is bringing her special kind of wonderful joy to heaven now.
We will forever treasure our memories of Auntie Joan and all of her Special Love that she poured over us while she was here with all of us.
