John Deinlein Obituary

John Clemens Deinlein

Milwaukee - John found peace on January 25, 2021. He was born in 1951 in Milwaukee to the late Aileen and Gerald Deinlein. His brothers and sisters Kathryn, Laura, Robert and Thomas preceded him in death.

As a Principal Engineer in the Firmware Drives Group of Rockwell Automation, John was an expert in Safety Systems. He was respected and highly admired by his peers in his 40+ year career that took him, at times, around the globe. John was always there for his family and cherished every gathering by capturing all the special moments with his camera for all to enjoy. While John was meticulous in his career and home life, he had an adventurous side with a passion for skiing, cycling, and motorcycles. In his youth, he tested his mother's nerves by flying airplanes and skydiving!

He was a beloved older brother to Mary (James) Connelly, and Peter (Cindy) Deinlein; and Uncle to nieces Ashley (Adam) Kent, Frances (Aaron) White, Madeline (Saul) Verbera, and Brittany (Rick) Callies; and his grand little joys Evan, Carson and Rickie Callies, and Henry and John White.

John believed an education was the foundation for a civil society. To honor John's life, please consider a gift to the Robotics program at Dominican High School, 120 East Silver Spring Drive, Whitefish Bay, WI 53217; he felt STEM education vital for future generations. A private family service will be held.

John will be remembered as a kind soul who really enjoyed life. I worked with John many years at Allen Bradley, learning so much from him, always respecting his abilities to problem solve and help wherever needed. We also enjoyed playing tennis and riding motorcycles together. It´s a great loss for everyone who knew and loved John.
