John Sulik Obituary

Sulik, John J. Of Cudahy. Passed away peacefully, Saturday, February 21, 2009, at 93 years. Preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Mata (nee Lengyel). He is survived by his daughter, Georgia Lengyel Sulik; step-son, Kenneth G. Stack and two grandchildren, Kenneth W. (Pat) Stack and Judy Stewart. Dear brother of the late Peter, Albert, Kathryn Sulik, Ann Kubic and Helen Sulik. Further survived by his special companion and friend, Millie Schmidt, other family and friends. Visitation Friday, February 27, 11:00-12 noon at HOLY SEPULCHER CEMETERY CHAPEL (3800 E. College Ave., Cudahy), with Funeral Services 12 noon. John was a WWII veteran of the U.S. Army and further served his country in the U.S. Army Reserves, retiring after 20 years with the rank of Major. He was a member of the Retired Reserve Officers Association of the U.S., Veterans of Foreign Wars, U.S. American Legion Dept. of Wisconsin and the Knights of Columbus Council 1709.
