Judith Gail Aune

Aune, Judith Gail (Nee Knurr) Judith was born to Eternal Life on Saturday, April 28, 2018, at the age of 76 years. She was born in Waukesha, Wisconsin and grew up on her parents dairy farm in Big Bend. She was baptized and confirmed at Christ Lutheran Church in Big Bend. She graduated from Mukwonago High School and UW-Whitewater. Judith taught biology and physical science at New Berlin West High School, and later taught 7th grade science at Horning Middle School in Waukesha. Judith is survived by daughter Heather (Jim) Cheslock, and son Carter (Jennifer) Aune, grandchildren Gage, Carter Elizabeth, Taylor, and Samuel. Survived by a brother Allen (Judith) Knurr, and other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Vernon Aune, her parents Alvin Knurr and Esther Turkoske Knurr, and a brother Jerome Knurr. A visitation will be held on Friday, May 4 from 4:00 PM until the time of a service at 6:00 PM at ST. JOHN'S LUTHERAN CHURCH, 20275 Davidson Road in Brookfield. Interment at Rural Home Cemetery in Big Bend. Judith was a member of St John's Lutheran Church in Brookfield.
