Fr. Schneider had just been assigned to St. Margaret Mary Parish when I started first grade in September of 1959. I will never forget his cheerful nature and how popular he was among all of us students through my eight years at that school. We all loved him because he involved himself in our after school activities, like baseball. I was a terrible catcher, but he always made an excuse for me when I missed a catch, like "Oh, the sun got in your eyes!". We also enjoyed his jokes about his "little Rambler" always getting him where he needed to go. What a wonderful priest he was! My sincerest condolences to his family and friends.

Fr. Karl was a great priest and wonderful boss. I was blessed to have worked with him at IHM for a few years. May he be at peace.

Fr. Karl was well-loved by the IHM Parish family and, from what I know, all those he served throughout his nearly 60 years of ordained priesthood. He was always very kind to me. I will remember Fr. Karl at Mass on Tuesday.

Love,
Fr. Paul H. Colloton, OSFS
