Our Grandson was a friend of Katies. She would occasionally stop at our house with him. We so enjoyed talking with Katie. She was one of our favorites. She always took the time to talk with us and share some of her goals. We loved her like a Granddaughter. We will miss her so much. We send our deepest sympathy at this very sad time and will always remember her with the fondest of memories.

I had the privilege of teaching Katie Earth Science, at Park View Middle School, in 2012-13. Katie was always bright and enjoyable to have in my class. During the school year, Katie participated in my trip to AZ and Grand Canyon. I have precious memories of hiking in AZ, with Katie and the other students. I am so happy that she got to experience those Wonders!
