Kendra Johnson Obituary

Born July 13, 2001. Found peace with Jesus September 27, 2005 at the age of 4. Dearest daughter of Tina L. Flynn and Kenneth R. Johnson. Loving sister of Keith Flynn, Kevin Baltz and Ryan Baltz. Proud grandchild of Alice and Bob Gajewski, and James Sr. and Sherylyn Johnson. Great-grand-mother, Gladys and super grandma, Sandy Leffler. Further survived by aunts, uncles, lots of cousins and many special friends.

Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home on Saturday, Oct. 1 from 10 AM until time of Funeral Service at 11:30 AM. Burial to follow at Highland Memorial Park.

Kendra's favorite things to do were her weekends spent with her Dede, playing dress up, loving animals and going to McDonalds for fries.

To further child safety, contributions can be donated to the Kendra Alice Memorial Fund. All funds will be controlled and maintained by the Milwaukee Montessori School. Kendra's family would like to extend a special thank you Monica Van Aken and Dr. Kevin Weidman for all their help with the memorial fund.

All of our hearts will miss our princess.

Tina, I just heard today about the loss of your daughter Kendra. I am so sorry that I didn't have a chance to meet her or for her to meet my children. We had drifted so far apart in these last 16 years and I feel bad that I didn't even know that you had a daughter. My deepest sympathy goes out to you and your family.

Kendra Alice Sassypants was truely a blessing in my life! She stole my heart and ran with it. She was my nappin partner, my beautician, my photographer, and my sassypants. She always put a smile on my face on my worst days. Being with Kendra was so comforting and she gave me so much love. I will never ever be able to fill the empty hole I have in my heart, she was my "sassypants"!!!!!!

I just lost my grandmother and i was looking on the site to she her page and i found yours and seeing the picture of your little girl just touched my heart. everyday you will wake up and breath even though it doesent seam that there is life without her but everyday you will learn to cope with the lose, breath after breath. Tina & Family.....It has been many years....seems like just yesterday we were growing up together on 82nd Street...

I am so sorry to hear of your loss-and I have never been one much good at having the right words to say but I can imagine, as a mother myself, how difficult this time must be. From reading all of the entries- it is obvious that you are surrounded by a lot of love and support- Kendra, too, was obviously loved by anyone whos lives she touched---believe in the fact that you were truly blessed to have her for the time she was here- she will forever live in your hearts.

My heart goes out to all the family and friends of your little princess Kendra. She was such a beautiful child. Such a short life but have touched so many lives. I heard of this tragic story from my good friend Jodi Schlaefer. This story hit me so close to home. I just lost my little sister July 6th, and also my brother-in-law the same day who both were killed in a horrible car accident while coming home from a family vacation. This is seriously the worst thing a family can go through. My heart especially goes out to Tina. I know the sadness that this can bring to a mother for I am there for my mother everyday. There is not a day that goes by that something doesn't remind me of her. Tina if you ever need someone to talk to, my mom would be a excellent person to talk to. With that said may your little princess Rest and Peace.
