The Love of People...the love of Helping Others
Well he was Swiggy to us guys in college…he really loved helping people...over 46 years of this helping that I would know him for…the Cedarville College business classes we had together …and the many talks afterwards.
Then he came into my life again during his ministry serving years at BBC in Clarks Summit, PA
back in the 80’s. Then more recently back into my life again, to move me toward new dreams in a new business in finding ways to help others…and most recently the New Life Foundation.
I would describe him as a gentle man with arms and heart of love and compassion.
More recently we talked of spending our golden years of helping others…after our businesses were accomplished and then set aside for others.
But none of those plans included retiring from core issue of helping people. Swig always loved this dimension to any friendship, keeping old friends, and creating new ones.
Swig was what I would call a mission hearted man. Selflessly giving, and then being a real encourager.
The most recent retirement dreams he shared with me would include some creative aspect of helping others. This current dream would require some other things to happen first in order to have proper quality of time and resources that would eliminate some restraints. Then the pursuit of those really big dreams could be assured.
Ken in 2005 actually did assure that things were in place for a life of living that will impact me and scores of people all around the USA. Thanks for faithfully serving on our Board of Directors at Future Path Medical from almost the beginning, and assisting me in ways to impact promises to family and friends.
Now an Ohio based bio-medical research and manufacturing firm exists, Future Path Medical, LLC. Without Ken this dream of mine may not have even occurred back in 2005.
Ken was instrumental in helping form the launch team and set the proper structure for this new business dream. Now medical products and services can soon be provided to many medical surgical hospitals and to the severally disabled home based population.
As a founding Board member of the Future Path Medical Ken was most instrumental in the genesis of structuring how bio-medical devices would be available for millions of people in over 6,000 USA hospitals and many others who are restricted to homecare.
Ken’s life has provided me and others a road map for life today.
Thanks Swig….the Journey Continues…the foundation has been laid…and I am with you forever.
