King Yee hired me as a dishwasher as my first job, probably in or about 1967. He was a great boss! I remember his cook, Henry Wong and several others passionately discussing the horse racing schedules as they worked the Wok!

I worked for King Yee at the Mandarin restaurant, and I saw Albert Yee mentioned in connection with a new Waffle restaurant in Milwaukee. So, I wondered what had happened to King Yee, and I discovered his obituary. Sad, but he truly was happy in his chosen profession. Glad I knew him.

When I was 14, I worked for King Yee at the Mandarin in Wauwatosa as a dishwasher. I am now 58. My ex-wife is Chinese and my son is half chinese. I think King and his employee's made a GREAT impression on me at that young age. Another friend from Milwaukee died , when I came upon this. What are the odd's of seeing King's obituary here?
