Dear Bruno Family,

I was just in Mr. Dino's and learned that Lorenzo passed away. I am truly sorry for your loss. He will be missed.

Lorenzo has cut my hair for the better part of 20 years. I absolutely agree with one of the other entries, Lorenzo was completely "real". I enjoyed talking (and sometimes arguing) with him. (Arguments almost always concerned the Packers!)

While sitting in his chair, you had his complete attention. He cut my hair during college, through my early job changes, and for my wedding (that one was on him). As our family grew, he was never more than 3-4 weeks out of date.

Lorenzo prided himself on being "connected". It did not matter what obscure product or service you might need, Lorenzo would reach in his drawer, pull out a business card, and say "Tell him Lorenzo sent you."

I do not know what Heaven is like, but I am sure there is now a place called "Lorenzo's." Where a guy can get his haircut, shoot a game of pool and smoke a fine cigar while he waits.

Dear Betty, Angela and Family:

Sorry I missed "lorenzo's" funeral. I knew he was very ill but was unaware that he had passed away until today, December 29th. I will surely miss him. We were in some way like brothers, but in more ways like best friends for many many years during the 70's, 80's, and early 90's. We went through lots of ups and downs together, and we always stayed loyal friends no matter what. I know for a fact that he is already in heaven. The impact he had on so many peoples' lives was very spiritual and Godly, much more than I think anyone could possibly imagine. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him and loved him.

Lorenzo, you've cut my hair since I was 12. Now 18 years later you became more of a mentor than a barber. Thank you for keeping me on the path and always having my back. The world is a better place because of you and I am a better person as well. Thank you for being the most real person I know. Your guidance will be missed but not forgotten. God bless you and the Bruno family.

Lorenzo, you were simply the best at what you did because you were kind. Ride that big cadillac in the sky and I'll see you someday, because I can still hear you saying, "Goodnight kiddies!" Laura D.

To, the family of Lorenzo......My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time, after getting to know him, on our monthly counsel session, with me sitting in the chair, I got to know one great thing about him, he was always at peace, he would take whatever was thrown at him gracefully and peacefully. He would always say nothing I and the good Lord can't handle. May you find that peace as well. And too Lorenzo rest in peace friend til we meet again..And by the way have the cigar and chair ready.
