Libby Palmer Obituary

Palmer, Libby (Nee Stepanek) Of Fox Point. Entered Eternal Life Sunday, September 21, 2008, at age 94. Preceded in death by her husband Vernon J. Palmer. Dear mother of John (Joyce) Palmer and Jean (Michael) Galvin. Sister of Tony (Jane) Stepanek. Further survived by 5 grandchildren, 5 great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Libby went to be with Jesus surrounded by family members on a beautiful Sunday morning. She led an extremely full and interesting life. Libby was given an incredible love of art, both man and God created, that carries on through the lives of her family and innumerable friends. A painter and artist known for her color sense, Libby was a teacher, mentor, inspirer, encourager. She traveled extensively worldwide with Verne and Cardinal Stritch and Mount Mary College art friends. Libby and Verne were extremely generous in giving their love, time, talents and resources to help everyone that came into their lives. Libby's family will receive friends Saturday, September 27, from 2:00 until 3:00 PM at Alliance Bible Church, 13939 N. Cedarburg Rd., Mequon, WI. A celebration of Libby's life will be held at 3:00 PM. Memorials in Libby's name can be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 6130 W. National Ave. #200, Milwaukee, WI 53214-3254. It was my great privilege to spend time with Libby as her caregiver. She truly was an inspiration and encourager and I loved her smile and laughter! I will deeply miss her! Thank you family members for sharing your mom and Grandma with others!

I'm so so sorry for your loss , Mrs Palmer was truly a one of a kind person,that touched so many hearts, because of that you will continue to see her all around in ourselves and when we are around all she knew I will truly miss her in my life Thank- you again for giving me the opportunity to spend that last day that I had with her Love Jimmy and Family
