I would like to send our condolences to your family on behalf of the Reiter family. My father Mst Sgt John Reiter worked under Col. Hanke and respected him very much. My father is now retired in Colorado Springs and I am writing on his behalf. My grandfather Ret. Col Warren Reiter also sends his condolences (Colorado Springs). There are many fond memories of the Whitefish Bay Armory and the time invested by servicemen and women serving or who have served our country (especially Col. Hanke along with the many others). Sincerely, Carrie Schubring (daughter of Ret. Mst Sgt John T. Reiter)
