Our hearts go out to the entire family. We are so sorry to hear about your loss, and the neighborhood's loss also. He will be missed a lot.

Louie was really well liked and respected.

When Bill was out bike riding, he would always stop and tell Louie how great the grass looked.

God Bless you and the whole family.

To Laverne and Family,

Having been Louie's neighbor for 20 years, I will always treasure his friendship, his help, and the many long talks we had on the corner. When we moved I left behind a special friend. I missed the talks, and seeing you with both of your dogs, Blackie. I will miss him, the neighborhood will miss him, but most of all his family will miss him. Good-bye Louie. Some day we will stand on the street corner of heaven and talk once again.

To the Shaefer Family,

I did not have the privledge of meeting Mr. Schaefer and for that I am sorry. This time is very difficult for you all and you are all in my prayers. John has been a great friend and that reflects the type of man that Mr. Schaefer must have been. My deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathies.

I have such fond memories of Mr. Schaefer. I smile when I think back on the times we met. He was a very charming man.

My condolences go out to all his family and friends.

Even though we had moved from the neighborhood, the thing I missed most was talking to you and seeing you and Blackie when I was out walking. It was good being able to share the news about the neighborhood. Also last year when we were waiting for the ducklings to hatch.

You will be missed dearly,

Marion
