Bookstaff, Manning Passed away Nov. 30, 2017 at the age of 86. Beloved husband of the late Doris Bookstaff (nee Sedlet). Dear father of Barbara (Stephen) Weinstein, Brian (Judith) Bookstaff, Sari Bookstaff-Kear and David Bookstaff. Loving grandfather of Samantha and Dana Weinstein; Cassondra (Kyle) Ruge, Chelsi, Chandra, Logan and Jamison Bookstaff; Ethan, Isabella and Levi Kear; Isaac and Sydney Bookstaff. Proud great-grandfather of Milo Ruge. Further survived by many other dear relatives and friends. Graveside funeral service, Mon., Dec. 4th at 2 PM at Mound Zion Cemetery, 14510 W. North Ave., Brookfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the charity of your choice appreciated.

Manning will always stand out as one of the most positive, upbeat, wonderfully unique & special people I have ever met--a joy to work with and a true, loyal friend. I will always cherish the memories of our great conversations, his laughter and his smile. I am so thankful for having known him, and he will forever remain in my thoughts & heart.

With sympathy at the passing of Manning. I worked with Manning at H&R Block for many years, and Manning often was a student in one tax class or another, where I was the instructor. I remember giving the class an example about claiming a dependent on a tax return, where Manning was my "cute as a button, button-collecting former husband". I find comfort in knowing that he and Dorie are reunited for all eternity.
