Marguerite Rosenthal Obituary

Rosenthal, Marguerite L. (Nee Getter) 82, passed away Thursday, May 29, 2008, surrounded by her loving family. She was born October 7, 1925, in Hartford, the daughter of Howard and Ethel (nee Gourlie). Marguerite is preceded in death by her husband Robert, her daughter Gale Ruck, her son-in-law John Bovee, her brother Orville Getter and her sister Daphne Janzer. She is the loving mother of Nancy Bovee of Horicon, the cherished grandmother of Rachel (Tony) Garza of Hartford and Kristen (Jason) Jacobsen of Horicon, and the precious great-grandmother of Skylar, Rypley and Brie Garza; Amber and Alyssa Jacobson; also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation is Tuesday from 4:30 - 6:30 PM, at the funeral home. Funeral service will follow at 6:30 PM at the funeral home. Rev. Arv Arveson will officiate. Interment Wednesday at 10:00 AM, at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Hartford. Marguerite married Robert Rosenthal September 7, 1945, in Horicon. She was a past member of Royal Neighbors of America and an ardent supporter of her granddaughters' many activities. Her great-granddaughters brought her many smiles and warm conversations with family and friends. In the many memories her family has of her she will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, taking care of them when they needed her most.
