She gave "real" light with role of mother most often by being available. Even as another added sister role,at least to me very often.

What can one say after so long a connection with family? She surely was the domestic type; helpful, a good listener, etc. I seldom saw her without home gatherings and without Mike. Even early years when house was full of babies, she stayed through all the ups and downs of parenting. I can't really seem to miss her when she is in mind so often. She came from small family and into a larger gathering that kept her busy. Children are the legacy. Lucky to have had such a great sister-in-law.

My first meeting with you was taste testing the food for Michelle and Steve for their wedding. That was so much fun. I really liked you and Mike. Also meeting you and Mike at the Casino what fun.

So glad mom got to visit with you both in August. Now mom is here in WI and Marilyn is not. Such is the way of the world. I know you will miss her greatly. Take care and enjoy all the family you do have.

Hugs and prayers to the entire McCormick family. I remember Mrs. McCormick fondly. Even in such a bustling household, she always had room for one more kid in a sleeping bag! Sleepovers at the McCormick home were such fun. As Kris's childhood friend, there always seemed to be an older sister or brother (sorry, Steve) to pester, and Mrs. McCormick laughed right along. I remember Mrs. McCormick as being happy, funny, and so very proud of her big amazing family. I'm sure you have countless happy memories. She will be missed.

My deepest sympathy to all the family of Marilyn McCormick she was a beautiful woman inside and out. A classy lady who was always so kind. I'm sure glad I got to see her and Michael in the last year and had many laughs about growing up on Brisbane. They raised a wonderful family and have so much to be proud of! 60 years of marriage is a gift God, What a blessing. Mr. McCormick is so right when he says she was the other half of his heart. It is my prayer that God is with him in this most difficult time. My heart is heavy for him. My love and prayers to all. God bless. Tammy Gonzalez ( LaVora) My father Adam Gonzalez and brother Adam jr express there deepest sympathies as well.
