Marjorie Sjostrom Obituary

Sjostrom, Marjorie E. (Nee Mahnke) Went home to the Lord on Sunday, July 20, 2008, age 82 years. Cherished wife for 53 years of Bert Sjostrom. Loving mother of David Sjostrom, Margaret "Peggy" Hanson and Eric "Rick" Sjostrom. Dear sister of Dorothy (Rev. Gilbert) Croll of Baltimore, MD, Ruth (David) Schultz of Racine, William (Jude) Mahnke of Racine, and the late John Mahnke of Racine. Sister-in-law of Delores Mahnke. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other family, friends and her granddog "Greta". Visitation at the Funeral Home WED., July 23, 4-7 PM and THURSDAY 10-11 AM at RESURRECTION EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, 213 E. Howard Ave. Funeral Service at 11 AM. Interment to follow at Arlington Park Cemetery. Marge was an active member of Resurrection Ev. Lutheran Church, including the Altar Guild, the Ladies Aid Society and the church choir. She was an accomplished soloist belonging to the Lutheran Chorale and the Milwaukee Choristers. If desired, memorials to the Shriner's Hospital for Children or to the church are appreciated.
