Mark-
Working with you at mama mia's, made it not really seem like working at all. Even though I was only there for a year, the stories, laughs, and inside jokes we shared will forever be apart of me. You were taken way too early and really showed us that life is too fast and that we should live everyday to the fullest. You will be missed greatly, thanks for everything.

Mark, you got taken from us way too early. I only knew you for just a little longer than a year but I considered you a best friend. Golfing, playing poker, Brewer games, just hanging out no matter what we did it was a great time and times that I will cherish and remember forever. I really loved your friendship. When I would have a bad day I would come into work and just talking and laughing with you would put me in a good mood. It is not very common to have a bad day and go to work and suddenly your day turns into a good one. I hope that you know that if I was in town I would have been at the visitation and funeral from beginning to end. I am sorry that I could not be there but some of us are planning to go the cemetery with a bottle of Jack, your favorite drink. I am so mad that I do not have any pictures of us hanging out I will just have to settle for the ones in my head. I remember talking about stuff that we would do when we were older…Jess and I will have to find a new best man…but they will be no Mark Tourek. You will be missed by everyone that met you and it doubted that you have touched their lives in some way.

Mark brought more joy and happiness to more peoples' lives than I think he even knew. In my mind, he characterized what life is all about: not sweating the small stuff and just enjoying everyone and everything that makes life great. Thanks for that Mark.

Sandy, I just found out about your loss today when I arrived at work,

To the Tourek family~My deepest sympathies go out to you. I, like so many others, haven't seen Mark for a few years, but we were lucky enough to have gotten to know him over those 4 years @Mukwonago High School. He was such a bright spot in all of our lives, and he will be greatly missed.

Uncle Mark, Auntie Sandy, Joe and Carrie...
I am thinking of you all more than you know. I miss Mark already. I was soo excited when he was born. I have the best memories of all of us cousins at Nana and Grandpa's house. He was the cutest little kid and grew into a wonderful man. I will miss him at our family gatherings greatly. He always kept us laughing at each other. I am sending you all a big hug.

Dear Tourek Family,
I moved to Mukwonago only a few short years after your family moved out there from St. Matthias as well. Like many others, I haven't spoken to him since high school, but I still can remember being in fourth grade with him. He was always a fun, happy guy that everyone liked to be around.
I am so very sorry for your loss. Each and every one of us was lucky to have known Mark. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

I went to high school with Mark, and sat next to him in one of my classes senior year. I couldn't stand that class, but with Mark there cracking his jokes and making me laugh all year, I actually started looking forward to class, excited to see what he'd joke about today. Although I did not keep in touch with Mark after high school, I have many great memories of him. He could make me laugh like no one else could. I'm still in shock at the loss of such a great person. My prayers go out to all his family and friends

I have many memories of Mark, from bowling to bonfires with the boys to seeing him at Mama Mia's. All of them have Mark with a huge smile on his face, telling stories that had everyone rolling with laughter.
Mark, you will be missed but never forgotten.

Well Mark, It's been more than awhile since we last saw each other, which is truly unfortunate. There were many good memories that we will all hold...riding to school together, swithcing between the 73' Duster, and who could forget that beautiful Buick you were known for! I only met Mark once, but I know what Mark meant to my close friend, Amy. They had this connection that every person desires in a lifetime. He made Amy so happy and full of life. Mark, I cannot recall a time that was spent with you when I wasn't laughing! Your a Great Friend to many people, and will remain with us all in spirit and memory until the day we are blessed to be with you again. You have parted this earth leaving many great memories for us all of good times, weather it be stopping by Mia's for a beer, or just out for a fun time. There will be many tears shed, but behind every tear there is much laughter and smiling of the times spent with you. Mark I truly feel honored to be your friend, you will be greatly missed by many people!

Tourek family, I am so sorry for your loss. Mark was truly an amazing guy. He was the best big brother and best friend to our boys: Connor, Colin McBride. He took them fishing, boating, and golfing on his only free day...Our boys would always come to work with me "only if Mark would be there" He always put everyone before him. He was never short of being a great friend. He will be missed greatly not only by the staff but also by the customers at Mama Mia's who knew him and considered him part of their family too. Our thoughts and prayers go out to your family.

I can't begin to tell the Tourek family how so very sorry I am to hear about Mark. He was my son's and daughter's friend all during high school and came over many times. I'm still in shock that Markie is gone... your precious first son. He was such a wise cracker and I loved the jokes and banter at our family gatherings with him. He will be missed. I can't help but think about Nana and how shocked she must be that it was his time to go already... God has received a true comedian. Mark was the funniest guy I knew. He always made me laugh and always brought humor to even the worse situations. It’s hard for me to fathom the fact that he had to leave us so soon. As I look through all my old pictures and find ones of Mark and I, we are always so happy. Mark made people happy, he made them laugh and his laugh was contagious. To the Tourek family, you will all be in my prayers and Mark will be close to my heart today, tomorrow and forever.

I have a lasting image of my nephew that I will cherish forever.
Grandpa Kaiser had decided that we were to exchange names for Christmas,all gifts had to be hand made and could not cost more than $20. This was indeed a challenge we took very seriously.My husband had Mark's name and after much pondering,he decided to make him a money tree. He went in our yard,selected just the right branch
with numerous off shoots and proceeded to wrap 1 dollar bills around each branch. He attached 17 one dollar bills and 3 scratch off tickets.I can still picture that fantastic grin of his when Mark unwrapped his present from his Uncle Don. In addition to the money on the tree, he also won money on the scratch offs.He said all his friends were jealous because he got such a "cool" gift and he was still talking about it months later.What a great young man and what a tremendous loss for our family.

Mark was a great kid. I have had the pleasure of knowing him my whole life. He was actually the closest cousin to me in age. I always believed that whomever he married would be a lucky girl, and he would have made a great husband and father. He always knew how to make people laugh and have fun. Words cannot express the void that we all feel in our hearts. I will always remember when we were younger, at any family gathering, we were inseperable. Unfortunately, as we grew older and moved from our parent's houses, we grew apart. Even when we lived in the same small town.

A devastation that will not soon be forgotten. No matter the words I choose, no combination of words can describe how amazing of a person Mark was. He had the ability to change the atmosphere around him with one crack of a joke. It was a great honor to work side by side with him. To the Tourek Family, I am incredibly sorry.
Mark- I know you're up in heaven reading this. You were one of the most hard-working men I have ever come across. I know if you were sitting next to me right now you would be telling me to hold my head up, so I will do so. Marky Mark was like a son to me. He was a great kid with a great sense of humor! He touched everyone in my family in a very special way. We all loved him very much and will miss him terribly. I feel blessed to be able to say that I am better person today because of the influence Mark had in my life.
I was hard on Mark at first as any older brother would be of his sister's boyfriend. As time went on I felt lucky to say Mark was my sister, Amy's, boyfriend. I couldn't have asked for a more respectful, caring man to be with my sister. Mark's unconditional love for my sister and his overall positive outlook in life really made me look up to him. He has taught me a few things about the man I want to be. I owe him for that.
Mark started out as Amy's boyfriend and in time turned into a great friend and a brother in my heart.
I am thankful for having known Mark and I will forever miss him. He has left me with so many memories. Every memory in my head has Mark with a huge smile on his face.
Mark has brought so much joy and laughter to my family I can only be grateful for the time I was able to spend with him.
Rest in peace Mark. I know you are in a better place and in time our paths will cross again

"Markie"- he was like my little brother when I was only 12 and he was about 4 or 5 years old. I will always remember playing with Mark as a little guy...unfortunately we didn't hang out much after I was in high school. But I will always remember the little guy who was polite, at times quiet but mischievious in his own way.
My heart goes out to the Toureks whom I have known for a while! No parent should ever have to close this type of chapter in their book of life!

Mark was and will always be the funniest person I have ever met. I will think about him every day. Since we were 14 every memory I have of Mark makes me laugh. We were always having fun. I can not imagine life with out Mark but I am so fortunate to have been with him every day for so many years and gotten to know him so well. I will continue telling stories about Mark for the rest of my life.
