It was with great sorrow that I learned of my beloved brother Maynard's death. I am so grateful to my nephew John for connecting Maynard and I by phone 3 days before his passing. As usual we had a great conversation about our youthful days as well as the great times we had together over our many years. I know that God with His everlasting Love has welcomed Maynard and he is at peace. God Bless you Maynard.

John and Jill- I send my deepest sympathy to you and your family. Losing a loved one, much less a parent, as I well know, is not easy. Hopefully you have wonderful memories and that they will give you strength during this time.

Dear John, David and Diane, I was very saddened to hear the news of your fathers passing. He has definitely left a mark on my life. He was a great parent, an American hero, respected in the community, and just had the presents that everybody looked up to. It takes great faith to find the peace that is needed in the world in these times of the unknown . In the dictionary Mr. Pete's picture should be by the definition of what a real "MANS MAN' is. Please let us know when a celebration of life can be fully presented. Best regards to your whole family. Kevin and Michele Kullmann

First of all, Pete was a phenomenal person who I have been fortunate to have him in my life for seven years at Layton Terrace. Secondly, Pete's family did what very few family members do - they continued to include Pete in their lives. They lived with Pete not just doing things for him. I salute all of you for your kindness and compassion, not only for Pete, but for our staff. I was blessed to have Pete in my life. God's peace as you reflect on Pete's presence in your lives. Hoorah Pete,

John, Diane, David & family, I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. I cherish all the great memories from his story telling to the great quotes he wrote on the bathroom walls at our cottage! He is one unforgettable person. So sorry this happened at this time of social distancing but know that you all are in my thoughts & prayers. I look forward to celebrating his life! Love & Peace, Gerri Stodola (Bittner)
