Michael Ehrmann Obituary
Milwaukee - Dr. Michael James Ehrmann passed away peacefully on August 8th, 2020 at his home in Milwaukee, surrounded by his family, after a short battle with cancer.
He was born on August 25, 1948 in Milwaukee, WI to Arthur Steven Ehrmann and Frances Agnes Ehrmann. He was number 2 of 7 Ehrmann children.
Mike is survived by his wife and "Pallie" Linda, his daughter Veronica and daughter in-law Whitney, his grandson Sutton and granddaughter Wynonna, his daughter Ann Marie and son in-law Victor, and his step-son Christopher and step-daughter Erika.
He is further survived by his brothers Steve and John, sisters Sue and Jane, and nieces and nephews Carrie, Joe, Rebecca, Nick, Peter, Dan, Zack, Matt, and Dana.
He is preceded in death by his beloved brother Pete and beloved sister Mary (Mimi).
Mike was a proud US Navy and Vietnam War veteran. He proudly served his country aboard the USS Cavalier and as boots on the ground out of Naval Support Activity Danang during the Vietnam War.
"Doc" returned to the States and went on to study and receive his Bachelors and Masters degrees from UW Stout. He then received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree out of Life University in Marietta, GA.
Dr. Ehrmann was an esteemed Chiropractor for over 40 years and continued to treat some of his dear patients even into retirement.
Mikey was an avid golfer and gardener. He enjoyed hunting and reading and was a music connoisseur. He loved having cocktails with his friends at Balistreri's and any excuse to buy another round.
He was a one-of-a-kind man who did things his way. He had conviction and integrity, mixed with a lot of jokes. Most of all, Dr. Ehrmann was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, a true and loyal friend, and a dedicated and helpful neighbor.
Mike will be missed by so many all over this great country, but he shall never be forgotten.

A visitation will be held at Carl's Catering & Banquet Hall on Wednesday, August 19th at 4:00 PM. His service will commence at 5:30 PM.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) Charitable Service Trust, the Honor Flight Network, or the Lung Cancer Research Foundation.

I met Michael when he was in school at Life Chiropractic school in Marietta Ga. He was my two daughters Dr and occasionally my Dr. He was always a very nice and kind person.

I met Doc in 1988 at a Convention-- Bored, tired and just wanted to get out of there and play golf !!!About 2hrs in a guy comes in the Door looking like a country western starGRUMBLING agh "what did I miss--- nothing !! Ha--- from that day on-- we laughed, cried, laughed until we cried again--Doc--My world is not right -- miss my buddy-- anyone who wants to talk -- he would like that we would tell DOC TALES

Growing up with Michael and his siblings I always felt part of the family. Spent many holidays, vacations and sleepovers. Will always remember our front porch parties. After we left Wisc, Michael moved to Fla and me to CA. we lost contact, but we never lost the memories or our love for each other. My condolences for you loss.

A great and dear friend. I always looked forward to our phone calls which would begin with me saying "Ehrrr" and Ehr would reply "Cliffff" ( nick names) then we would both laugh. I'd get to hear his infectious laugh! My wife Ann got to meet Ehr last January when he came up to St. Paul to visit another old friend Phil Fortney who was dying of cancer. After visiting with Phil, Ehr stayed with us. Ann and my two daughters just loved Mike. Phil said he is the most charming guy on the face of the earth. Yea, that was our friend Ehrrrrr. Condolences to Linda, and the rest of Michael's family and to us his friends. Tears in eyes burn, tears in my eyes burn I'll miss you Ehrrrr.

Michael was an honored and dear friend. His visits back to Menomonie were a welcome reunion whenever possible. His many friends and personal obligations to stay close to all were a measure of the kind of man he was. The unfortunate circumstances of his rapid decline in health prevented one last meeting bu in our hearts and in his, we were together. To a kind and enjoyable friend, I bid adieu but his memory will forever be tied ours. Deepest condolences for our mutual loss and warmest memories to all of us who knew him.
