Veronica Julia "Vern" Ehrmann

It is with great sadness that the family of Veronica J. Ehrmann, announces her passing at the age of 87 on March 16, 2026.

Vern was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Albert Ehrmann, in 1988. Devoted mother of Veronica Spingler (Frank), Susan Ehrmann (Beth), Mary Ferrell (Bill), Christine Ehrmann (Rafael); preceded in death by her son Albert (Mildred). Cherished Gram to 17 grandchildren and GiGi to 16 great grandchildren; Dear sister to Helen Gramlich and the late Genevieve Cline; Daughter of the late Adolph and Genevieve Jablonski; Cousin, aunt, and friend to many.
Veronica "Vern" grew up in North Philadelphia and later lived in the Kensington and Rhawnhurst neighborhoods. She attended Girl's High. After lovingly raising her five children, she went on to work at GA and the IRS. Vern was a devout Catholic, an active member of the Maternity BVM community. She was very adventurous, deeply involved with Al-Anon for many years and was a devoted supporter of family in every sense. She found joy in cheering on the Phillies, caring for her plants, and spending time playing cards and sharing meals with her friends, the Golden Girls.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Monday, March 23rd from 6 to 8pm and again on Tuesday, March 24th from 8:30 to 9:30am at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 9304 Old Bustleton Avenue, Phila Pa 19115. Her Funeral Mass will begin 10am at the Maternity BVM Church. Interment will follow at Magnolia Cemetery.
