In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious."

I have been in the unique position of being Mike's almost ister-in-law, dating his brother Jim for many years. I have seen Mike in his fishing mode, partying and concert seeking mode, prideful of his children mode (who he cherished), shopping for jewelery mode (which took forever if you ever went to a festival with him) and finally his death and dying mode. He was a unique individual who brought unique attributes to our world. He will be sorely missed and referred to and thought of for years to come.
