Nancy Klug Obituary
Entered into Eternal Life on October 5, 2020 at age 95. Loving wife of the late Dr. Wayne Klug. Devoted mother of Tom (Sally) Klug, Debrah (Dan) Bogenhagen, Dan (Catherine) Klug, Wayne Klug, Jodi (Merl) George, and Andrew (Aziza) Klug. Further loved and survived by 8 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, additional family members and friends.
Nancy was a beloved educator who was a English teacher and administrator at Catholic Memorial High School in Waukesha from 1971-1988. She then took a part-time position at UW Waukesha as well as serving on numerous charitable committees. She received numerous honors for her work in literacy, including the Governor's Certificate of Commendation. Her dedication to enriching her student's lives was extraordinary and had a great impact.
The family would like to thank the caring staff at Linden Grove and Seasons Hospice for their compassionate care of Nancy.

Deepest sympathies to the family. I was so fond of Mrs. Klug. She welcomed me as a transfer student and help me navigate the uncharted territory of CM. We discussed our mutual love of poetry and literature. She was always open to talk. She even agreed to play tennis with me in the summer, which was a treat, except for the fact that she beat me! ;-). She also attended my wedding. I will always remember her graciousness and kindness to me. What a profoundly fabulous mentor.

As a member of the CMH Class of 1977, I have fond memories of AP English/Literature classes with Mrs. Klug who was always articulate, challenging, inspirational, and witty ... God bless her!

Mrs. Klug was one of my all time favorite teachers. her passion for creative writing and literature in general has fueled my own simple writing efforts throughout my life. She was a true grace in this world and a joyful spirit! Please accepts my prayers as you grieve her loss.

I am sending my sympathy to all of the Klug family. Debbie, I had gone to school with you , many years ago but it's times like these that one goes back and remembers the good times .... your mom was a great lady with many accomplishments throughout her wonderful life .
