I was a student at Marshall from 1982-1985 and loved how he turned around the football program and took the Eagles to the playoffs for the first time in over a decade. You will be sorely missed

I was a student at Marshall High the first year Coach Hendrickson won the City Conference championship for us. I was not directly involved in athletics; I kept to the stands and the sidelines with the other members of the Marshall band. Coach Hendrickson made us all proud to be Eagles, and he was an inspiration to the entire student body. My condolensces to the family.
