Steven McQuin Obituary
He was born March 5, 1971, in Milwaukee, WI, the son of Kenneth and Sandra Tyree McQuin. Steve was a 1989 graduate of Rufus King High School and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. On April 19, 1997, he was united in marriage to Amy Tews at St. Mary Catholic Church in Winneconne.
Steven taught middle school in Milwaukee, then worked in IT and business at the corporate level. He co-founded and was CEO of FarWell Project Advisors in Madison. In his free time, Steven was an avid fisherman, cribbage player, Fantasy sports fan and was a self-taught BBQ pitmaster.
He is survived by his wife, Amy; daughter, Chloe; son, Calvin; two brothers, Kevin (Sarah) and Mark (Pam) McQuin; his mother, Sandy Kasch; and other family and friends. His father, Ken, preceded him in death.
A Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19, from 10 am until noon, at Barbola Funeral Chapel in Berlin. Funeral Services will be held at noon at Barbola Funeral Chapel, Father Bill Kearley officiating. There will be a gathering at Mastricola's on Broadway following the service. A memorial has been established. Anyone wishing to send a sympathy card to the family, please mail to Steven McQuin, c/o Barbola Funeral Chapel, PO Box 201, Berlin, WI 54923.
