Rhanda Van Ermen Obituary

Van Ermen, Rhanda J. "Randi" of Greendale, WI died at her home Friday February 16, 2007 following a long illness at the age of 47 years. Born Sept. 12, 1959 in Hillsboro, WI, Randi was the daughter of Arlene and Donald Jensen of Kenosha, WI. On July 5, 1986, she married Peter Van Ermen in St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Racine, WI. They have two daughters, Amy and Kelly and a son, Michael. She moved to Kenosha with her family as an infant. She attended Frieden's Evangelical Lutheran School, Forest Park Elementary School and Lance Junior High School in Kenosha. In 1977, she graduated from Kenosha's Tremper High School. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside in Kenosha in 1981, and a Master of Business Administration degree from Marquette University, Milwaukee, in 1987. After graduation, she was employed as a marketing analyst by Western Publishing Co., Racine, and later by Wisconsin Bell, Milwaukee. For the past decade, on a part-time basis, she was employed by Land's End, Brookfield, WI. Beginning with the birth of her oldest daughter, raising her three children and caring for her husband and family became her first priority. She was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church and a former member of the church choir. Surviving are her loving husband and children at home; her parents; two brothers, Colonel Steven G. (Susan) Bolint, San Antonio, TX and Erik D. (Cynthia) Jensen, Fitchburg, WI; mother-in-law Barbara Van Ermen, Escanaba, MI; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Funeral Mass Monday, February 19, 2007, at 3 PM, at ST. ALPHONSUS CATHOLIC CHURCH (6060 W. Loomis Rd., Greendale, WI). In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Alphonsus Church, appreciated. Visitation Sunday 3-8 PM with Prayer Service at 7 PM at the Funeral Home, and thereafter on Monday 2-2:45 PM AT THE CHURCH. MAX A.
