Richard Eberling Obituary

Eberling, Richard F. Passed away August 25, 2018 at the age of 93. Preceded in death by his wife Ruth of 68 years, parents Frank and Constance Eberling, sister Barbara, great-granddaughter Nevaeh, many other family, and close friends. Loving and cherished dad of Christine (Warren) Malak, Bill (Mary) Eberling, Mary (Clarence) Verble, Patti (Keith) Farkas, Lynn (David) Swinburne, and Kathy (Larry) Wenzler. Special grandpa of Dawn, Kerry, Bill, Jenny, Brian, Andy, Danny, Jill, Jamie, Josh, Holly, Alissa, Adam, and Matt. Dear brother of Lois Swendson. Further survived by 29 great-grandchildren, other relatives, and many good friends. Richard was a proud Army veteran that served in the European Theater during World War II. After returning from the service Richard worked as a draftsman in which he was involved in designing many of Milwaukee's landmarks. Memorial visitation will be held on Friday, from 9 - 11 AM, at St. Paul's Catholic Church (1720 E. Norwich Ave.). Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11 AM. Private inurnment at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Special thanks to Francis House and Hometown Hospice for their kind and loving care. Memorials to the Wisconsin American Legion or the Alzheimer's Association appreciated.
