Grandpa’s memorial

Hi my name is Erik Stibbe I’m one of Richard’s grandsons and I would like to speak here today. I never really got to meet and get to know you like most of the others. What I know though is that you were a great man and you took care of your children. I wish I would have known you better and I wish I would have came up to see you more than once a year on your birthday. You were always letting the kids spend lots of money to play games and things at the bar so they wouldn’t get bored. You raised some great kids including my mother who passed on all her knowledge she got from you to me. Last year when I heard you had cancer I cried even though I didn’t know you that well but you were strong and ended up surviving that but now god has chosen that it was time for you to go to a better place. Grandpa I love you and I know you are in a better place. You will always be in my heart as grandpa cowboy. I would like for everyone in attendance today to stand up and clap for this amazing man father, grandfather and great grandfather to some.
