Rick you will be missed by many people. The dice games, puck bowling and the road trips were a memory I will always have. Your weekly calls are missed. I wish you were here, but I know you are in a better place. My deepest sympathy to Rex and the family.

Rick, After seeing all of your friends, family, photos and hearing countless stories yesterday as well as the last couple of weeks I am awestruck with how much you did in your life. I am deeply saddened by your passing. A major piece of my life is and will be missing. I wish you only knew how lucky I was to know you my friend.

KF5 you said it best!
Rick was the one that kept the ballgames going & the parties rolling.
Those were some pretty crazy times together on your road trips. We met many people thru you, & had plenty fun with you.
So, Rick this is not goodbye, but a wish that you get the line up names right [ R. Platke ]& the party ready for the rest of us. God's speed and blessings to you, Rex & your Platke Family.

Rex and Family,
I'm so sorry to hear about Rick. I hadn't seen him in many years but was shocked to hear of his passing. We shared 3 years together and were engaged for some of that time. I still have many memories. My prayers and deepest sympathy are with all of you.

Rex & Family: I am trying to get a flight out of Ft Myers but it doesn't look good. If I don't make it to the memorial I want you to know that I will miss Rick and think about him and the good times we had togheter. He always treated the old man with great respect and courtesy. Jim Lessila
