Hi Steve - was looking for the obit of my next door neighbor as a child in Tosa, when I saw that your Dad had passed away. I recall him as a genuinely nice man, and a brother of SAE. Hold tight to your happy memories my old friend. Sincerely, Brian Lochen

Dear Mrs. Herring, Gordy and Steve,
We have a lifetime of wonderful memories and warm connections between our families. Your dad was such a positive and happy person who always seemed to be a part of something "fun".
His devotion to his family was ever so admirable, as was his service to so many community events. We were happy guests of his tailgate parties at UW and always delighted in his "Big Red" hospitality. With the recent passing of Mr. Winter, we would only hope that Bob, Lou and Eddy are just about to tee off at some great golf course in heaven. Our sincere condolences and our thoughts of love are with you all.
Love, Barbi and Terry Wex
