Dear Schlytter family,

I do not know you, but after reading Bob's obituary this morning, I know I missed out on knowing a man who was wonderful on both the outside and the inside. I could hear your loss with every sentence you wrote about who he was to you and others. He truly lived his 63 years as a person who was always deepening his relationship with God, and, therefore, with others. I am so sorry for the pain you are in and will keep you in prayer as you must adjust your sails to continue your own journeys.

Peace and courage.

WE APPRECIATE YOU Dear Bob You were a person who made life easier and better for everyone around you. Your continuous acts of thoughtfulness and kindness brightened each day. What you did for us will glow in our memory reviving pleasant feelings every time we think of you. We appreciate you then and now. We thank you and we will never forget you.

Remembering the times in the early '50's when we met and you worked at Walter Laev Ford on 27th and State St. and I worked at the State Theatre across the street. We met at the Coffee Shop on the corner and tossed a nickel to see who paid for the coffee that night. We talked about our dreams for the future Those were the good old days.

We'll miss you FRIEND Wally and Elaine Konrad

For Mr. Robert Schlytter & his family:

From: Joanne L. Barian, MSW, LCSW, SAC-IT. & Kathleen M. Pace
( DOMESTIC PARTNERSHIP)

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace,
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
where there is sadness, joy;

O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console;
to be understood as to understand;
to be loved as to love.

For it is in giving that we receive;
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
"MAY GOD BLESS YOU & YOUR FAMILY, DURING THIS DIFFICULT TIME. SENDING YOU PEACE, LOVE, JOY, & DIVINE BLESSINGS, SO BE IT......& SO IT IS"

I was shocked to here the news. I thought Bob would live to be a 100. I am truly sorry for your loss.

Bob was a personal friend of mine, as well as a business competitor; he was the ultimate "Automobile Guy"!
I could also say he was a "workaholic"; I tried many times to convince him to retire, but he would have NOTHING to do with it!
He will be missed.

As everyone, I am more than just a little shocked. Having just been with Bob in late August, I never dreamed this would be my last time.
A mentor, advisor but most importantly a friend.
I thank God for all the times we would just talk about Jesus and what He was doing in his life.
This leaves a hole that no one will ever fill.
We love you and will miss you.

How very sad I was to learn of the passing of Robert O. Schlytter, a boss and friend for over 25 years, those years filled with learning from one of the best, if not the best, in the real estate world. Robert's love of family, friends, automobiles and real estate were such a great part of his great life. My thoughts and prayers are with all of Robert's family. RIP, Robert O. Schlytter.

My condolences to Bob's family. Milwaukee has lost a great steward. ROBERT SCHLYTTER loved this community and was committed to make it better and did so. His generosity was very much appreciated. I thank God that he was given to us for so many years. He will be missed tremendously.

Greetings to the family of R.O. Schlytter:

I knew Bob for many years as his lawyer. He was a very sharp business man and I am sure made a large fortune with his ability to recognize and consumate a good investment. I admired his ability to do that. I had not seen Bob for many years as I moved from Milwaukee in 1976. As he lived until 86 years he had a good long life. My condolences to his family from an old friend, John D Cahill
