Sitz was a great science teacher at West Division and then the Milwaukee High School of the Arts. Students loved him. An
anecdote: Each year he taught an anatomy section. He had two complete human skeletons that he would bring into the classroom, prop them in front of the class, tell the students to look closely and determine which was the female. Laughter, embarrassment, furtive looks. No, no, he'd say, don't look there, look at the heads. Still no answer. Finally he'd say, "It's obvious - the one on the left has its mouth open! Groans and laughter. Pure Sitz. Dan Artley
