TC;
I was working on the grounds today at St. James church in Franklin when a woman approached me about your dads funeral there today.She apparently had the location mixed up.I saw his death notice in the paper on Wednesday. When she told me he was your father I was floored! I knew Bob back in the 60's when he worked at Godar Pontiac in Oconomowoc and I worked At Phil Tolkan Pontiac In Milw. We talked almost every day.I also remember his tavern on Vliet St. in the late 70's. The last time I remember seeing him was a few years ago when he was delivering parts for one of the local jobbers. He was a really nice guy, always trying to please people. He will be missed in this world. Hope all is well with you. You are missed at St. James in Franklin.
Sincerly,
Keith Hauerwas

I will long remember Bob's warm eyes and smile. He was quite the character and I so did enjoy his stories. Our hugs to all of Bob's family. Mom (Gail Claringbole - Tony's mom) also sends her condolences. We are all lucky to have known Bob and to have spent time with him and Rose Marie recently. Sandy and Mike Burkhalter

I worked with TC at Maders many years ago. However, she was kind enough to send a sympathy card when my mother passed away 4 years ago. I am returning your kindness. Sorry for your loss.

So very sorry and deepest sympathy to you Rose Marie and your wonderful family. Many good memories from golfing, to road trips, to freezing in motor home,parking in an unknown parking lot and having a key to sport (gun) shop from someone who did not know who we were. Also, exploding golf ball that did not work!!!!! So many great memories. Thank you, you are one of a kind. You will be missed.

Uncle Bob was a Genuine Milwaukee classic. He loved Baseball, Beer, Tailgating, Packers, Beer, Brats, Family, Lions Club, and beer. He raised a great familly of Spitz;s, created great family memories, and outlasted many of his peers. His wit and sense of humor will never be forgotten.
