I recall Roger for his wonderful smile, his good sense of humor and his gentle way about people that showed how considerate and kind of others whom he always impacted. He was a great high school and college classmate who went on to do great things with his brief time on the stage of life and he will be sorely missed. Robert John Zagar PhD MPH PC Chicago, Illinois

Roger, you were a great man. You will be missed! I always looked to you as the uncle figure in our family. I enjoyed talking with you at all of the family functions we had. You always knew how to "break the ice" with people. You always had an interest in my schooling career/ law enforcement career and I felt as though we connected on many different levels. You were always there for anyone who needed you. I will miss you Roger and to this day I still cannot believe you are gone. But as time continues to pass, I hope you make those entering heaven feel at home just as you did for me! Somethings I learned from you Roger is to always live life to its fullest and try your best to make others feel comfortable or at home. Roger, you will be missed. Your services on this beautiful earth have not gone unnoticed and your presence will always be felt at family gatherings. Thank you Roger! Enjoy heaven and relax! Until we see each other again Roger!

This man was really someone special. I was his workmate at Milwaukee Psychiatric/Aurora Hospital all the years he was there. His patients loved him for his insight, honesty, and zeal. Those who did not certainly had to respect him. At one time Roger was arguably the premier counselor in Milwaukee, as he managed three Alumni Houses and oversaw Inpatients and global, therapeutic performance. His was a genius for organization, and he specialized in getting raw programs off the ground both here and at Rogers Hospital. He was also, and more importantly, my friend. We met at St. Francis Seminary and lived in the clerical community there, although he was two years my senior. As others have alluded, Sir Roger the Dodger had a famously infectious sense of humor. His wry, sly grin would forecast an utterance of something either profane or deliciously intemperate. Affection, please note, underscored it all. This was a great man who never surrendered his grip on childlike wonder and social grandeur. Most know of his artistic bent, levied on practically everything he touched. His skill in gathering volunteers for his projects or his mischief is the stuff of legends. The world, such as it now is, can never ever afford the loss of a soul and a personality of a Roger Glazer. May he be allowed to interact with us still, if even on the order of Grace. It would salve the sting a little. Linger longer, amicus meus. -Mike Johnson, Milwaukee

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Roger's passing. I worked with Roger at CSL and spoke to him daily, for many years. We shared many stories of each others lives, and a lot of laughter. He was a good friend and he will be missed.

Roger's wonderful smile, his smokes out on the church parking lot, the wonderful transformation of our church for the special seasons due to his clever ideas, the generosity of his efforts to create beautiful liturgy, the wonderful willingness to cope with any unforeseen or last minute developments, the love he had for his community. What a sweetheart.

I am saddened to hear of Roger's passing. I was a classmate of his back in the seminary. I remember how jovial he was and how talented. May he bring his joy to heaven like he did here on earth.

Roger will be greatly missed. He always was with my cousin Joan attending our family functions. I was so grateful to him for making the bows for 2 of my daughters weddings. They made the church so beautiful. Our thoughts are with Joan and his family. Debbie & Don Goetzel

As I shared the news of our loss, of my brother Roger, I found what great holes he left in so many lives. He was the "go to" man for lots of us. I know life will not be the same for me, but what a great homecoming party is going on in heaven these days. Diane
