Roger Schwefel Obituary

Schwefel, Roger Age 79, of Oconomowoc, passed away Friday, July 16, 2010. Roger was born to the late Ernest Schwefel and Sadie Schwefel (nee Kuehl). He is survived by his wife Fae (nee Quandt) of 55 years. His sons Tom (Laure), Dan (Lori), Pete (Jodi) all of Oconomowoc. Grandchildren Jacob, Sarah, Jeremiah, Jennifer, Zackary, Jamie, Austin, Hannah, Sadie and Emma and Great-grandchildren Tayanna, Madilyn, Lily and Landon. Also his Brother Otto (Carol) Schwefel and Sister-In-Law Jean Schwefel. Roger was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Lloyd and his son Michael. Funeral Services for Roger will be held Tuesday, July 20th at 12 noon at Our Savior's Lutheran Church with a visitation starting at 10:00 AM. There will also be a visitation on Monday from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Pagenkopf Funeral Home. Burial will follow the service on Tuesday at St. Luke's Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Oconomowoc Regional Cancer Center, The American Heart Association or to the Bartelme - Schwefel Marine Corp. League in Watertown,WI. Roger belonged to the Marines where he served as a Sergeant in the Korean War. He was a member of the Oconomowoc VFW Post 2260, the Korean War Veterans Association #9533, American Legion Post 0091 Oconomowoc, Marine Corps League of Watertown, WI and the Sugar Island Sportsman Club.
