She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Matt Wey; daughters Kit Slawski, her former husband Robb and their sons Andrew, Ryan and Daniel; Eileen Worman, her husband Matt and their son Matthew; Molly Schissler, her husband Jeff and their sons Marty and Evan; sons Matt, his wife Jennifer and their children Andrew, Peter (Kate), Haley and Ellen; Mike, his wife Tami and their children Michael (Jackie), Casey (Allison), Kyle(Taylor) and Megan; and Marty, his wife Tracy and their children Nikki Olson (Ted), A.J. and Amy; great-grandchildren Aiden Wey, Reagan Wey, Camden Wey, Aubree Wey and Kennedy Wey; and many special friends. Born in Cleveland, Ohio she was preceded in death by her parents Francis and Mildred DeFranco, and sister, Joan.

Ree and Matt first met at recess during the seventh grade at St. James Catholic School in Lakewood, Ohio. Ree attended St. Joseph Academy while Matt attended St. Edward High School. They worked together at Malley's Chocolates, she as a waitress and he as a soda jerk. Their relationship continued as Matt studied at The University of Notre Dame and they married on June 8, 1957. Their family grew quickly while Ree served as a U.S. Navy wife. Ree was an active supporter of their children's school activities and helped organize weekly bingo games and the marching band at St. Bernadette's Parish in Westlake, Ohio. After settling in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin in 1979, Ree and Matt opened their home as the Little Red House Bed & Breakfast for fourteen years (1995-2009) welcoming hundreds of guests from around the world, many of whom would become lifelong friends. Ree was known for her tea parties every May, each with a theme and fun hats. She will be remembered for her kind heart, warm smile, and easy laugh.

A service will be planned for a future date.

The family wishes to thank Ree's many caregivers at Froedtert Hospital and St.Anne's Salvatorian Home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Academy, 3470 Rocky River Drive, Cleveland, Ohio 44111.

Ever gracious, always kind, a warm smile with a hint of mischief! That is how I remember RoseMarie. She made me feel special. Matt and Rose Marie’s wedding was the first I ever attended- I never forgot that magical experience! I enjoyed our visits thru the years, and always appreciated the effort made to visit our family when in Cleveland. I hold you all in great love! Rosemary Powers Lann

The whole family remembers how Rose Marie & Matt decorated for Halloween & they would sit on their bench & scare the kids half to death coming for trick or treat. Our condolences, we had many good times, John & Kea Gogin
