To the Jacobs family. I am so very sorry to hear about your brother Russell. I am saying prayers for all of you. You might not remember me but I was the Wages foster child. I want to say thank you. The summer spent at your house are some of my fondest memories. God bless all of you.

I remember Russell Jacobs as a child in Foster care! I remember myself and sister Kelly spending a wonderful summer vacation with the Jacobs Family and having the best time of our small lives!! Riding on mini bikes , having root beer floats, picking vegetables from the Garden and playing with all the cool toys they had!! They all treated me and my sister like we were part of there family! We will never forget Russell and what a beautiful soul he was!! Also, Tammy, Wendy , Joni and Johanna and Gene! God Bless you all and know that one summer you all did more for 2 little foster girls than you will ever realize!

My deepest sympathy goes out to you Gail & your family. Also, Tammy, Wendy and Jo-Jo. It is so hard to loose a loved one. Russell will always be in your heart and mine. Fond memories of all of you on Red Cedar Lake and family get together playing baseball in your parents yard in Wind Lake. Russell is now @ Peace, no more suffering from Cancer that has taken too many of our loved ones. May his soul and all the souls of the faithful departed rest in Peace and let the Perpetual Light shine upon him.
Love always,
Aunt Teresa

I just heard about Russell's passing. I was so sad to hear this. I remember Russell mostly from my childhood, and he was the happiest, funniest, kid who loved to laugh and listen to our Grandpa sing. My heartfelt condolences to Tammy, Wendy and Jo as well as Russell's wife Gail and his children. I know he will be very missed.
