Just heard of your Dad's passing as I was in Florida since March 2nd. He was a favorite of my husband, Al, and myself. Al was a District Manager for WE under Russ when Russ was a VP. What a wonderful guy - and such a great sense of humor. Al passed away Sept. 8, 2004. At Rotary functions I would always ask if Russ was going to be the MC for the outgoing Pres. and was always elated when Al said he was. I knew then that we would have many laughs. I did keep in contact with your Dad thru Christmas cards and did have lunch with him last summer. Always the gentleman and always fun to be with. His humor, and apparently that of your entire family, showed in his obituary. Sounded like something Russ would say about himself and his "tour of duty". Please accept my most sincere condolences. You were so blessed to have had him for all these year.
