Dear Mike and family:
You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. I remember seeing your mom in the hospital at various times over the last few years, as I would see her there during my work day at W.A. She was a dear lady and I enjoyed our conversations.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss...I am grateful to have so many wonderful memories of Ruth and your Family. She definitely taught me a life lesson or two along the way and was always so kind, generous and truly enjoyed her Family. She always made me feel like a welcome 'honorary' member of her Family.
I regret I can't be there in person to pay my respects, but please know that Ruth and all of you are in my heart and thoughts.

To Ruth's loving family
She had the most loving heart ever. She touched so many lives, including mine and I will never forget her. Truly, her family was her greatest love and it showed in everything she did. She will be missed by all who had the honor to know her.

Dear Kompas Family
Sorry at your loss of your wife and mom. I enjoyed visiting your family when I was young and seeing all the interests of your large family (the trains, the latest stereo systems and eating together wherever one could find a spot). I didn't see many large families and yours was fun. Cousin Ruth encouraged the gatherings and I saw the joy!
When we moved to TN you offered your home as a place to stay if we came to WI. I appreciated your hospitality.
When I came to town alone you offered a gathering of relatives I could see at once. How considerate when I was just in for a few days.
Hugh and I are raising four children and some lessons learned from your family have influenced our journey as parents. Thank you Cousin Ruth and family.

Love never dies...

Dear Family
I loved your mother like the mother that I didn't have from the time my mom passed away. I cherish Ruth's words saying "you are welcome at any time and you're always part of our family". I send all my love and sympathy. I am with you in spirit. I will be sending prayers and Masses.
Love from our family to yours.
