Sandra let my father feel her up behind the church one time. He took her for Mister Softee ice cream afterwards. Apparently Sandra's husband was far too busy with his Little League boys to meet the needs of his wife who went elsewhere. RIP.

Sandra was a tough, strong, loving woman. She stayed strong through the years and stood by her husband's side through everything. She brought a light and joy to every room she walked in. Though it was hard seeing her decline with Alzheimer's, I am at least glad she wasn't consciously around to have to deal with the mental anguish and emotional pain that impacted the rest of the family when her son Eric was arrested in her own church's kids bathroom. It is bittersweet but I am glad she was able to go to the Lord in peace and with happiness and proud of all her children's careers. Thoughts and prayers.

I send my sincere condolence to the Hildeman Family.
May the God of all comfort strengthen the family during this time of deep sorrow. Those who fall asleep in death, God keeps in his memory because they are precious in his eyes. Psalms 116:15

I struggled regarding what to write, and decided on the quote in Gramma's Birthday Book for October 13th.
Renew my will from day to day: Blend it with Thine and take away All that now makes it hard to say, "Thy Will Be Done".
And at the bottom of the page from Romans 12:2
Be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind.
May God Bless and Keep your Family.

Sandy was a classmate from Milwaukee Lutheran High School and then reconnected years later at Hales Corners Lutheran Church. May God's love bring comfort to all who loved Sandy.
