I met your father too late in life, having shared the same family name for many decades, although we were unrelated. My sympathies go out to you all. His passing must have left deep chasm. We shared several breakfasts together and I was proud to have searched successfully for his (our) name in the Prague memorial seven years ago. Be well.

To Ros,
I am so sorry to read of your dad's passing, and want to send you and your family bright blessings and my prayers. We went to school together, but I never really met you until college at UWM. I have heard so much about what a wonderful man your father was, and all the now-grown kids who remembered him so fondly as their beloved principal at Cumberland. I am sending my best wishes to you and your family in this hard time.
Sincerely,
Linda Scrimenti

DEAR EICHENBAUM FAMILY,
WE WANTED TO EXPRESS OUR DEEPEST SYMPATHY FOR YOUR GREAT LOSS OF YOUR SAUL.
HE WAS MY(MIMI-MIRIAM'S) 5TH GR. TEACHER AT CUMBERLAND SCHOOL; I ALWAYS KNEW THAT HE CARED ABOUT THE STUDENTS IN A WARM AND FAIR WAY.
YEARS LATER, WHEN HE WAS A PRINCIPAL, HE INTERVIEWED ME FOR A JOB AT CUMBERLAND AND BECAME MY BOSS THERE; HE WAS ALWAYS A REASSURING PRESENCE.
YOUR PARENTS WERE VERY DEDICATED WORKERS . I SHALL REMEMBER THEM ALSO FOR THEIR WORK AT CONG. SHALOM .
MAY YOUR MEMORIES OF YOUR PRECIOUS PARENTS BE SWEET.
YOU, AS DESCENDANTS WERE BLESSED WITH WONDERFUL PARENTS.
G-D BLESS YOU ALL,
LOVINGLY,

Your Father was the vice-principal at Cumberland when my brother Mike and I were students there. He was always so truly caring and nurturing to all of us and was a man that always listened and helped his "kids"! Please, know that you are all in my thoughts and Prayers. He shall always be remembered with great fondness.

Condolences to the family. Our four children (Robin, Jim, Jay & Jon) went to Cumberland and we were happy to have Mr. Eichenbaum as principal. He was caring and a good educator. May your many good memories sustain you in this time of your sorrow.
