I was shocked and saddened to hear about the passing of Shelly. We grew up in the same neighborhood and played ball together from the time were in grade school until we were in our 20's. I'll always remember the football and basketball games in the alley of 61st Street. My sincere condolences to his family and especially his mother, Elaine.
