Steven Erbe Obituary

Erbe, Steven Andrew Steven was born in Leominster, MA, on Nov. 11, 1978, and his first home was at Ft. Devens, MA. He then lived in Augsburg, Germany; Milwaukee and Grafton. Steven died in Milwaukee on June 24, 2008, at the age of 29 when his kind heart failed. Steven graduated from Grafton High School, attended UW Milwaukee and was employed as an accounting clerk. Recently Steve fulfilled his dream of watching the Brewers play the Red Sox at Fenway Park in Boston with his Aunt Carrie and Cousin Richard. Steve and his brother, Harley Christopher, were avid Packer fans, although Steve had a secret loyalty to the New England Patriots as well. Through fantasy football and fantasy baseball, Steven had some very special friends, Aimie Peterson, Dan Harkinson, John Sheldon, and many others. They called Steven the "Encyclopedia of Sports Stats." He also loved to call into talk radio stations in Milwaukee to comment on current sport events. Steven's passing is grieved by his Mom and Dad, Harley and Louise (nee Poirier) Erbe of Grafton; his brother Harley Christopher Erbe of Des Moines, IA; his Aunts Carrie Poirier of Newburyport, MA and Patricia Knaak of Wingate, SC; his special cousin, Richard Robillard of Nashua, NH; and many other cousins and friends. Steven was preceded in death by his grandparents Andre and Irene Poirier of Lowell, MA and Harley J. and Anna Erbe of Milwaukee. May God keep Steven in the palm of His hand. A Memorial Mass will be at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, (1619 Washington St.), Grafton, on Tuesday, July 1, at 10 AM. Inurnment at the church cemetery. Visitation at the church from 9 AM until time of service. MUELLER FUNERAL HOME Grafton (262) 377-0380 www.muellerfuneralhome.com

To the Erbe family,
I am so sorry to hear that Steve has passed. I am shocked and sadden to hear such news. Steve and I went to high school together. He was a good person and I don't think there is anyone out there that would disagree. He will be missed.

Steven was/is the biggest heart.
Was a pleasure to know you, if only for a few months, when we worked together at Milwaukee Gear in 2006. Souls like Steven are few and far between. The world will miss you.

To Steve's parents and family, I am so sorry for your loss. Steve was really a caring and wonderful person.

Steve I am really going to miss you, you were a great friend. There are few people that I have kept in touch with over the years, and I'm happy to say that almost 10 years later we were still friends. This is way too early for you to have gone away, i'm going to miss you.
