The Murr and Baas family sends our deepest sympathy to the Latina Family. I know that my brother Bill loved and admired Steve's culinary abilities. Now he has another friend in Heaven. We don't know why...only that it was too soon.
Sincerely, Pamela Murr Baas

My deepest sympathy and love to Dave, Tom & Frankie Latina.
Steve was a loving friend and I will treasure the memories forever. We spoke often as though he was never far away, we laughed and we cried. Throughout my life Steve was there for me, we would be lifelong friends. Steve was considerate yet humble and always had a kind heart. His stories were very colorful as though you were able to see everything he described. He cherished the early days and the fun he had with friends, including his best buddy and dog Ben.
Steve was enthusiastic at all he did and would “fix” anything he could get his hands on. His passion for tools started early as he worked on everything at the motel, restaurant, cars, boat, before moving into security systems. Steve enjoyed fast cars, motorcycles, and his boat.
Steve was a great chef and he appreciated good food. The holidays at the Latina home was a feast of ethnic foods for all to enjoy. The Latina family always welcomed friends into their home.
I am blessed to have had the most amazing friend. Steve is not far away, he is an angel.
