I have Sues holy card on my refrigerator at Elkhart Kake. I will never forget the fun I had with her at WTMJ Radio. She also came to Elkhart Lake where we were a couple of wild childs. Sue was an intelligent, thoughtful and dear friend. I will miss her forever. I am honored to have known her. I am also deeply honored she was a bridesmaid in my wedding. I loved everything about her and will cherish our happy, carefree and hilarious times together.

Excuse my typo from my comments about my friend Sue. We FORGED an instant friendship, not forced. Nothing had to be forced with 'Sweet Sue", everything was fun and natural, just like she was.

I met Sue at WTMJ Radio in Milwaukee in the late 70's. We found out we had a lot in common. We forced an instant friendship and strong bond from the day we met. Sue was one of the brightest, coolest, most talented women I have ever met in broadcasting. She was head and shoulders over the rest when it came to writing; everything from copy for radio ads to poetry, stories, any kind of writing. She was a brilliant and creative natural wordsmith. And, she a total doll of a friend, We drank together, smoked a lot of cigarettes and did a lot of talking and laughing back in the early days of our careers. We poured our hearts out together. But mostly, we laughed until until we were sore. Sue was a bridesmaid in my wedding. Sue was a great listener and confidant. She had a knack for quickly understanding things and helping to solve problems. She was philosophical and thoughtful, intelligent and so very wise. She had so much depth and insight, creativity and imagination. And she had that devilish, Irish wit! Funny to the bone, she was. And she laughed easily. I loved her infectious giggling. Oh my goodness, I'm so happy I knew Sue and so sad she is gone. Her life in NY separated us for years but I never forgot her. She fought a brave and long fight with her cancer. My heart goes out to her wonderful siblings. What a loss. I am and will always be grateful I could call Sue my friend.
