Thomas Liddle Obituary

Liddle, Thomas N. "Two Buck Tom" Left this life too early on May 4, 2011, at the age of 59 years, after a courageous battle with cancer. Survived by his loving partner Donna McHugh, her sons Jimmy (Kristine), Sean (Melissa) and Jason (Melissa); grandchildren, Elizabeth, Kiera and Cate. Also survived by his special nephew, A.J. Konkol. Preceded in death by his parents, John and Joan and his sister, Julie. Further survived by very many friends and relatives. Tom spent his entire life in sales of dental products, where he made many lifelong friendships. He will be sadly missed by all who had the privilege to know him. He was definitely one of a kind. "God Bless You TL" A Memorial gathering will be held Tuesday, May 10, 2011, at CHURCH AND CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, Waukesha (4 blocks south of I-94, on the corners of Hwy J and JJ), a Memorial Gathering from 4PM to 6:45PM with a Memorial Service at 7PM. The family would like to thank the nurses on 12T at St. Luke's for their loving care. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic at St. Luke's would be appreciated. It was during the winter of '70, that Tom and I met on the slopes at Little Switzerland and so began a lifelong friendship ... skiing in the winter, sailing in the summer, 70's concerts, standing up at Tom and Patti's wedding, dozens of meals at John Ernst Cafe attended by Steve (maitre d') and enjoying another log on the hearth. Today, this friend of Tom is filled with joyous memories ... in contemplation of the time we shared and spent together ... shaping each other's lives ... imprinting each other's spirit. Satu, satu, satu

Tom, I will always remember your smile and your passion for sailing. So many good times together. As the Beach Boys sang "Sail on Sailor" I know you are now sailing the universe with all the other great adventurers.

I am just one more person who was touched by Tom and who he was. He can't read this so I write to let others know I knew him, laughed, cried, and got crazy with him and his friends. God puts people in our lives for a reason.

I'm going to miss you Tom. You were the 'grown up' cousin who was fun to tease. You were great company too. Rest in peace, cuz.
