It was during the winter of '70, that Tom and I met on the slopes at Little Switzerland and so began a lifelong friendship ... skiing in the winter, sailing in the summer, 70's concerts, standing up at Tom and Patti's wedding, dozens of meals at John Ernst Cafe attended by Steve (maitre d') and enjoying another log on the hearth. Today, this friend of Tom is filled with joyous memories ... in contemplation of the time we shared and spent together ... shaping each other's lives ... imprinting each other's spirit. Satu, satu, satu

Tom, I will always remember your smile and your passion for sailing. So many good times together. As the Beach Boys sang "Sail on Sailor" I know you are now sailing the universe with all the other great adventurers.

I am just one more person who was touched by Tom and who he was. He can't read this so I write to let others know I knew him, laughed, cried, and got crazy with him and his friends. God puts people in our lives for a reason.

I'm going to miss you Tom. You were the 'grown up' cousin who was fun to tease. You were great company too. Rest in peace, cuz.

Tom and I were together for 22 years and I have so many memories that I have continued to enjoy since we last saw each other. Please accept my condolences as you grieve this loss and know that you are not alone.
