Larry Nelson Abbott

Larry Nelson Abbott, 79, beloved husband, dad, and grandpa, passed peacefully into the presence of his Savior on January 20, 2026. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on July 24, 1946, to Charles and Mary Lou (Walley) Abbott. On January 23, 1971, he married Rita Miller.

Larry was a gentle, patient, and loving husband and father with a great sense of humor. He worked in the electroplating and metal finishing supply industry for sixty years and developed several innovative products. He enjoyed spending time with family, playing golf, and watching sports. He especially loved going to baseball games with his daughter Susannah.

He is survived by his wife and love of his life, Rita Abbott; children Stephen (Leah) Abbott and Susannah (Michael) Lehky; and grandchildren Benjamin and Grace Abbott. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Carol Sue (Abbott) Kingham.

Visitation will be held at CHURCH AND CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 15250 W. National Ave., New Berlin, WI on February 4, 2026, at 2:00 PM followed by a Memorial Service at 4:00 PM.
