I went thru the acadamy with Tom July 5,1960.
We had a lot of fun when we were rookies and
working at #3 District.I remember when he and Emil Markovic were working Sq 36 and caught a burglary in the Mug & Jug Tavern 20th & North. He was injuried by the burglar with a knife. After that he went to the Bureau and we lost touch. My prayers are with the family.

To the family of Tom Perlewitz: To me, he was known as Pearly! That's what his friends called Tom way back in 1961/62 when we were called to serve @ Ft. Lewis, WA.
I was privileged to have been his friend.
I was the Co. Clerk with the 32nd MP's. Many many memories of Tom. He was one "Great guy, and a super human being! I was honored to have known him.
